Meet Michelle Pinto of Mystic Connections Healing and Enlightenment Center in Huntington Beach

Today we’d like to introduce you to Michelle Pinto.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Living each day with excited anticipation, joy and appreciation is possible when you have the courage to push through self-imposed limitations and insecurities and follow your heart’s inner guidance system. That is how I live life now, but not always. My mission as a new business owner of Mystic Connections Healing and Enlightenment Center is to help people live abundantly, shine from within, and follow their path with light, love, health, and happiness.

Fear use to be my strongest inner guidance system. Fear of judgment and fear of the unknown along with a strong need for outside approval and validation controlled most decisions. This was a learned behavior that started from birth I think. I grew up always feeling different in a small Texas town where the desire to fit in dominated and a predetermined set of religious and ethical beliefs ruled.

Opportunities for expansion and growth came when I left Texas and relocated to So Cal in ’87. Life progressed with marriage, children, church, divorce, but I rarely stepped out of my little box as fear was deeply imbedded in my psyche. My safe haven was a consistent and familiar routine working as a school district employee for 22 years. However, as the years passed, a longing for “more” escalated, anxiety ruled, depression came and went, and the purpose of life was shrouded in mystery.

Seeking answers to understand my very existence; who am I, what’s the point of life and my role in it, began an amazing unbelievable spiritual journey that not only answered those questions, but illuminated the very essence of my soul. This awakening set in motion a calling so strong, I retired early from the school district to put all of my energy towards helping others find that connection and awareness by sharing what I have learned.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
In June 2014, I started teaching informal meditation and intuitive development classes, and energy healing workshops in my home. There were no plans to build an actual business, conquer the world or any such thing as that. As a matter of fact, there were no plans at all (so NOT me…) just a burning desire to help people smile and be happy! As word of mouth spread, attendance grew, classes diversified, and courses expanded to include crystals and gemstones for their healing properties. Less than a year later, a bigger space was needed as I had taken over most of my home with crystals and classes. Moving into a bigger space was a major decision that required deep soul searching and clarity about what I wanted. I had to consider startup costs, rent, overhead, and the need to transition into a business mindset that may or may not be good enough for success. The question was, do I stay small and safe or take a leap of faith to potentially help more people on a broader and larger scale.

My little box began calling me home so to speak as old feelings of unworthiness and doubt started screaming louder and louder. What if I failed and What do I know about running a successful business? Silencing limited thinking is an art form that takes practice, focused intention, and patience (life lesson). My only road block was me! Forward momentum finally came when I knew what I wanted, silenced the fear, and trusted that doors would open as needed for success. Sure enough, the very next day, a perfect place to set up shop literally “fell” into my lap (within walking distance from my house) and Mystic Connections was officially born June 2015.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Mystic Connections Healing and Enlightenment Center story. Tell us more about the business.
Mystic Connections is a healing and enlightenment center and retail shop that carries a large variety of discounted crystals and rocks. It was created to bring likeminded community members together to learn, grow, meet new friends, and share their spiritual journey. It is a comfortable relaxed space that promotes empowerment, transformation, and higher consciousness living. A variety of classes in the healing and spiritual arts are offered including empathic workshops, guided meditations, intuitive development classes, and two certification programs for in-depth study in energy healing and psychic mediumship training. Private healing and reading sessions are also offered by appointment only.

The Crystal and Rock shop carries one of the largest varieties of discounted rough stones and polished crystals in the Southern Orange County area including pendulums, pendants, tumbled stones, geodes, clusters, spheres, points and towers as well as metaphysical supplies and unique gift items. The entire center including every crystal and stone is charged multiple times a week to maintain the purest and highest levels of energetic frequency possible. Our stones and crystals are beautiful and we love them!

Growth and expansion continues as opportunities present themselves. Mystic Connections will be expanding with an online crystal and rock shop while a second company is under development, Soul Source Solutions Abundant Living Online Resource Center that will offer abundance life coaching. Podcasts, videos, and tele-seminars with interactive live streaming will address topics for discussion such as: *Top 5 Manifestation Delays, *How to Say No without Guilt, *How to Attract Healthy Relationships, and many many more.

The future is so bright and full of promise! I can’t wait to share my vision and dreams with all those ready to receive. When we release fear, and know what we want, all things are possible!! This is my message to the world!!

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
Luck has not played a role in my life or business. All experiences have been drawn to me based on my energetic output as defined by the law of attraction. Throughout this journey, I have either been the creator of life or a responder to it both of which brought opportunities for learning and growth. I have learned that life flows easily with little to no resistance when you have a dream, release resistance, and stay in a state of appreciation and gratitude and let divine timing to do its thing.
