

Today we’d like to introduce you to Michelle Paul.
Michelle, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Our company was founded in 1984 when catering was fairly new and most people didn’t use Caterers.
We’ve maintained high standards serving delicious food from our “scratch ” kitchen.
We pride ourselves on our customer service and our immediate response to client inquiries. Our first meeting always includes a complimentary tasting so you can try before you buy.
We are the only Caterer in the area offering a Loyalty Program called Tasty Points – giving you discounts on future orders.
We are environmentally aware and do whatever we can to help from recycling cooking oil to purchasing locally grown produce.
Has it been a smooth road?
When the economy tanked around 2008 – our business suffered the most. Companies cut back all the “fun” stuff and belts were tightened. Aerospace was a large part of our business 10-15 orders per day down to zero – management forced all Admins to use the in-house Cafeterias for all their functions. It’s been tough but we maintained our quality and persevered!
So, let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Critic’s Choice Catering story. Tell us more about the business.
We are an Off Premises Caterer – one of the hardest types of Catering there is – all work is done off site – we work in any terrain with nothing available in the middle of nowhere and make it look amazing.
I’m most proud of our amazing on line reviews – 5 stars. I love when clients go out of their way to thank us publicly on line saying it was the best decision they’ve ever made!
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
I see the economy coming around and notice more and more companies are ordering in – they want diversity and quality which we offer.
Shifting towards good wholesome food – when a Caterer can offer incredible food for 600 or more guests – you can do anything!
