Meet Micah Gardner of Vibe Micah Micah

Today we’d like to introduce you to Micah Gardner.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Micah. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I always had the ability to sing. But growing up, I never wanted to display it. I was scared to stand out until I stopped caring about opinions. I got a MacBook by the middle of my sophomore year in high school and started playing around with beats on GarageBand whenever I was free. Then after a while I started writing to the beats I was making. From there, I knew this is what I wanted to do!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
This is for sure not a smooth road! But that’s what makes the journey the best part! I’m far from where I envisioned myself and I’m also my biggest critic, but I’m nowhere near giving up. Because I came to the realization that everything doesn’t happen overnight! That’s why prayer and persistence has been key to everything I do!

We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
For those of you who don’t know, I’m a singer/songwriter/producer! I think what sets me apart from others is my originality! I love to play with beats and I challenge myself to discover new sounds! It’s very therapeutic to me.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
I plan to make a difference. I’m not here for personal gains, I’m here to influence and inspire! My main goal is to make sure that those closest to me reap the benefits, then afterwards I want to draw attention to those who truly need help… the people who get overlooked!
