So, before we jump into specific questions, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I grew up in Los Angeles. I completed college at UCLA, medical school at UC-Irvine, ophthalmology residency at Cleveland Clinic, and oculoplastics fellowship at UCLA. I started private practice in Beverly Hills ten years. I focus my practice on aesthetic and reconstructive oculoplastics surgery.
Has it been a smooth road?
Starting solo private practice in very competitive Beverly Hills area had many challenges and required much effort and patience on my part to succeed.
We’d love to hear more about your practice.
I focus on aesthetic and reconstructive oculoplastics surgery (eye plastic surgery) including many complex eyelid and orbital surgery. I use minimal invasive techniques with quicker recovery and natural results. Some procedures include lower blepharoplasty, upper blepharoplasty, droopy eyelid ptosis surgery, lower eyelid retraction surgery, orbital decompression bulging eye surgery, eyelid filler injection, and others. Many of the patients I treat have had previous failed operations by others. I’m proud to receive patients from around the world who visit me for treatment.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
There are always trends for less invasive procedures and more specialization.
