Marina, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Sechoir+ was founded by Nava Nabavi. Nava combined a full-service salon & the “blowout” bar concept, with the goal being, to provide clients with all their hair and makeup needs in one place. We strive to make sechoir+ an enjoyable place for clients with complimentary snacks, success beverages, and a personable experience. We are proud to be able to have success in just 5 short years and we have no plans of slowing down.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
As a small business, it has its challenges along the way, and we can’t say it’s always been easy, but it is more than worth it. We are grateful for all the good, bad and ugly- it shapes up and allows us to learn and improve. To be successful alone is good, to be successful in one of the “hot spots” of Los Angeles – is amazing! we are so fortunate, at the end of the day!

We specialize in hair color, haircuts, and makeup but you could always stop in for an amazing blowout, doesn’t get much better than that, right?
We are known for our use of Aveda products, our extremely fair pricing, our gorgeous salon, and more importantly our talented stylists.
I would say, the most unique part about Sechoir+ is that we work every day to make sure our stylists have the most up to date education and that our clients feel taken care of from the moment they walk until they leave. We go above and beyond for our clients. Who doesn’t want to feel welcomed, get their beauty services and watch a movie all at once?
