Malik, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
So growing up in baton rouge wasn’t easy at all. As the years went by, I always wondered what I’d do when I got older because I wanted to take care of my family. So once I graduated high school, I took on window tinting, then I became and artist. After that, I become a social media influencer, fashion model & role model for this young kid named Xavier. You can find all of our videos on my TikTok @kamo2ss. I still do ALL of these things today. Basically, I’m just still on my journey waiting to see what else god has in store for me. Hopefully, I can collaborate with you guys and take it a step further. Love from bigeightone. ❤️
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It wasn’t easy at all. I think the hardest part was me not getting along with my mom after graduating high school and leaving home. Ever since then, I been getting it on my own but our relationship is much better today. Everything else I take day by day. I wouldn’t say my life is perfect but it’s not the worst and I’m grateful for that.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
So for starters, I have my own window tinting business which is @xclusvcustomotives on Instagram. I have been doing that for six years and it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life. I also make music and model clothes. I’m mostly known for my unique car which is @kamo2ss on Instagram. What sets me apart from others is that I’m a jack of all trades. If it involves making money, I’m gonna get my hands into it. Positive only of course.
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
My advice to others would be to never give up. It’ll always get better along the way. It may not happen when you want it to but if you stay prayed up god will. And he always will!
