Today we’d like to introduce you to Malcolm “MJ” Harris.
Malcolm, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I use to be a management consultant working a corporate job I hated. I decided to do two things as a way to create more fulfillment and income in my life. The first was I decided to start doing online motivational videos as a way to spread positivity to people who were facing different life obstacles. Also, I decided to get an insurance license as a way to earn extra money so I could leave my full-time job and focus on things that brought me more fulfillment.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road, but it has been very rewarding. At times it was very difficult.
The first thing I had to learn was that my fears didn’t have to stop me and that I could move forward in spite of my fears. The second thing I had to learn was how to manage a business, like many new entrepreneurs I made a lot of mistakes. This changed once I obtained a mentor. This is why I enjoy doing my global mentorship program so much, it helps other entrepreneurs avoid common mistakes and reach their goals faster!
MJ Harris – what should we know? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
The business has two focuses. Our first focus is on helping people secure a better financial future. We do this by helping individuals all over the country to come into the insurance and financial services industry.
To date, we have helped over 1300 people learn how to build thriving financial service businesses within their community. Many of them joined us because they are looking for ways to earn supplemental income, become their own boss, and create a financially abundant future for themselves and their families. It brings me so much fulfillment when I see team members who were living paycheck to paycheck before coming to our company, achieving six-figure and higher incomes for themselves. What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I personally define my success by the number of people I am able to reach. By 2025, I plan to have reached at least a billion people globally.
