Meet Mahnaz Bahaelou of Elite Permanent Makeup & Training Center in West Los Angeles

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mahnaz Bahaelou.

Mahnaz, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Almost two decades ago, when I was in my early 20s, I was going through a difficult divorce and needed something to keep me engaged. I really loved makeup, so I decided to learn how to do it professionally; I got training specifically in permanent makeup. After working as an MUA for over 12 years, I discovered my passion for teaching, got my instructor certification and opened my school the Elite Permanent Makeup and Training Center in Los Angeles in 2012.

Has it been a smooth road?
Well, everything is always tough at the beginning, but you can manage to succeed if you desire to, With hard work and dedication it slowly became a smoother road for me in this journey. the most difficult struggle was building the clientele base in the beginning, but as you keep pushing forward things get a little easier.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
We are the first permanent makeup training center to be approved by the Los Angeles county department of Public Health. Elite Permanent Makeup lets you have perfectly done makeup all the time! Our professional staff will work with you to help you choose the best look for your face. Soon your everyday routine becomes so much easier! No more waking up early to carefully apply your makeup, you can simply wake up and go, saving you time while always looking fresh and natural. Even as you go through the day, you can walk around with confidence knowing your makeup is picture perfect and you don’t need to take any time to stop and touch it up. we also specialize in restoring breasts to their pre-cancer appearance.

We offer a wide range of permanent makeup courses tailored to meet your needs to where you can start your own business. We successfully educated more than 500 students!

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Yes because you do get a wide variety of different cultures from around the world in LA, this is one of the cities where everyone in the world is dreaming to visit and tour around. Plus, there is a lot of word of mouth that goes around in social media and in person. Most of the people in LA are very trendy in the fashion and beauty industry which brings a wide range of clientele to the beauty world.

It doesn’t matter on where you start, it matters on how you start and how hard you keep working to keep all your clients satisfied but I do definitely recommend LA.
