Today we’d like to introduce you to Lynn McClintock.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Initially, I just wanted some cool tanks to wear that allowed me to identify as a yogi. I had been practicing yoga for eight years, and it wasn’t until I became a certified instructor in 2015 that I recognized the need for yoga tanks that speak to those who prefer a little edge with our love and light. So I created Go OM Yourself, for the rock-and-roll yogi soul.
The mission is to promote joy, bold individuality and a spiritual lifestyle that colors the human experience with such a vengeance that it takes your breath away on a daily basis. I officially launched the online store in 2018, and have since included an amazing pop-up store that travels to various yoga festivals and outdoor markets around the Los Angeles area. Go OM Yourself is currently in a few yoga studios…with one as far as the east coast!
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Coming up with the concept of the line and all the creative aspects was easy, as I knew exactly what I wanted. It was literally like feeding a craving.
The struggle lies in the e-commerce part of the business. Unless you have a huge budget for online ads and promotions then your store is not going to track on Google with the rest of the yoga tank brands. I’ve had to get really creative and really network on social media to get the Go OM Yourself brand in front of my demographic. After almost two years in business, the online store could really use more traction. My goal is to continue to rep the brand to various brick and mortar stores and yoga studios across the country, and just hope for the best for the online store until there is a real budget for professional optimization and online ad campaigns.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Go OM Yourself High Vibe Tanks – what should we know?
Go OM Yourself is a humble little T-shirt/tank top line for those who choose to feel more. Inspired by the beauty of the Mudras, rock n’ roll and modern street style, the line marries style with wellness, strength and serenity. It’s today’s answer to Zen wear for anyone who likes a little street cred’ with their love and light.
We are known for our freakishly-soft fabrics, socially eco-conscious choices and our do-you-wanna-make-out-rock-and-roll sensibility.

Without a doubt my niece Debra Fabean, my amazing husband Eddie McClintock, and my sister-of-another-mister Jana Hamblin.
Deb is a Go OM Yourself Pop-Up store pioneer. She always said yes to early mornings and all-day pop-up store events…and donated modeling skills as our spokesperson for year one in business.
My husband Eddie is an artist and an incredible creative he brings a lot of “funny and clever” to the workspace… His input has been invaluable.
Jana is my biggest cheerleader and has donated photoshoot after photoshoot to Go OM Yourself.
