Meet Louise Farnam of Louise Invitation Cards in Santa Monica

Today we’d like to introduce you to Louise Farnam.

Louise, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
My 14 years of experience doing mosaic art led me to look for a way to channel my passion. I wanted to create a business and use my talents to craft custom invitation cards for my clients, making their events unique and memorable. Through my new website and Yelp account, I have been able to connect with many more clients and help them add an elegant, creative touch to their invites.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The business has been going smoothly, and I find the process of working to bring out clients’ creativities fulfilling. Many people have last minute orders, which presents a challenge, as my process of designing, finalizing, and producing takes 2-3 weeks.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Louise Invitation Cards – what should we know?
I customized invitation cards for weddings, birthdays, baby showers, anniversaries, Bar-Mitzvahs, Bat-Mitzvahs, reunions, Quinceañeras, Christmas parties, or any other event. My portfolio also includes wedding stationery, such as RSVP cards, reception cards, place cards, map cards, table cards, money envelopes, thank you cards, menu cards, and more. When I first meet a client, I typically spend 2 hours going over different designs and materials to get a strong feel for the person’s aesthetic. I offer the choice of any written language, such as French, Farsi, Hebrew, and Spanish. I am proud of my work, particularly the great feedback I receive from all my clients.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
My children have been very supportive of me on this amazing journey of venturing out on my own into my business endeavors. Yelp and my website, have allowed me to reach many more interested people. And of course, my wonderful clients have also helped grow my business through their enthusiastic referrals.

I had my wedding invitation cards designed and printed by Louise. My soon to be wife and I where extremely happy with the end result. Louise did an amazing job and was extremely helpful in the process of figuring out the design and lay out of my invitations. I would definitely recommend her to my friends and family or any one in general whose looking for quality invitations.
The cards were done much earlier than I expected. So in conclusion Louise is very professionals and pleasant person to do business with. I had a very pleasant experience.
Thank you for all your help Louise.
