Meet Lisa Hyde of The Confidence Crown in Brentwood

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lisa Hyde.

Lisa, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I LOVE helping women find the confidence to create massive impact and income, but I haven’t always done this! When I was a kid, all I wanted was to be a talent agent. It was my family business. My grandfather and his family came to Vaudeville from Russia as an acrobatic team. Soon after, he became their booking agent and was asked to open a talent office in Los Angeles. He went on to represent the biggest stars of his time. My dad followed in his footsteps and continued the family business. When I grew up, I did the same. I had a talent for seeing potential in other people and helping them be their best selves.

For twelve years, I was a thriving talent agent and manager. Some of the biggest names in entertainment today started in the business with me. We even survived the arrival of reality TV, as scripted programming got shelved in the early 2000s. I thought for sure I was in my lifelong career. And then, the unthinkable happened. My mom got sick with cancer, and I became her caregiver. Without a second thought, I shut the doors of my talent management business and took a J.O.B. in retail. I needed the insurance coverage, and welcomed the break from reality at home, but my heart wasn’t in it. When my mom passed, I went back to school, thinking I could make income and impact as a healthcare professional. Right before graduation, my grandmother became ill, and I found myself a caregiver once again. The idea of a life in healthcare suddenly made me panic. I realized I wasn’t cut out for the daily heartache. I needed to find something else. Then, opportunity fell into my lap. A complete stranger found me on LinkedIn and invited me to join her direct sales team. She told me I could work it like a hobby, and at the time, that was exactly what I needed. The idea of running my own business again gave me a sense of balance.

So, without a clue in the world, I jumped in. It was the BEST decision I ever made. My new career connected me to mentors who emphasized personal development. I started to understand who I was and what I was meant to do. I pushed myself in every aspect of my life to be the best version of me. I even started doing public speaking gigs, something totally outside of my comfort zone. Soon, I was asked to guest star on a podcast (which lead to the creation of my own!), write a book, and enter into mentorships with high-profile coaches like Brendon Burchard, Dean Graziosi and Tony Robbins. I had never felt better. I loved the freedom this lifestyle gave me, and I was proud to have created my own economic recovery.

My life had completely changed, and it wasn’t because I did something special. I just took a leap of faith and stuck by my decision. Anyone could have done it with the right effort. And that’s when I realized I wanted to help other people do what I had done. The Confidence Crown was born. Now, I’m in the business of helping women step into their personal power to create the income and impact they need to #MakeitReign in confidence and abundance. I can’t imagine anything more rewarding than helping women succeed.

Please tell us about The Confidence Crown.
The Confidence Crown platform has allowed me to serve a community of entrepreneurial women – by helping them launch their online businesses, grow their brands and conquer their fears! I use the weekly podcast, my book, group coaching and private coaching to grow the community.

This past year, I became a coach, trainer and speaker for KBB, The Knowledge Broker Business, with Tony Robbins and my coach, Dean Graziosi, which has been a phenomenal opportunity! It also introduced me to my three new business partners and together we formed a global community, Wonder Women Mastery, to help women scale their businesses, improve their wellness and strengthen their relationships!

At 50, I’ve never been happier or busier serving others.
