Meet Lisa Christie of Party Witch

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lisa Christie of Party Witch.

Lisa, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Party Witch began as a way to connect people by creating small moments in big spaces. Think of it as our attempt to make the scary world a friendlier place.

We are community builders with artist hearts who live for The Moment… the moment you unwrap your tie-dye to reveal a beautiful pattern, the moment you look up and see a thousand white balloons floating above you, and our favorite, the moment you make a friend by sharing in a Party Witch experience.

What started in late 2018 as a Pinterest board (really) is now a fully-operational magic workshop churning out party spells and surprises for the lovely people of Los Angeles. We specialize in art activations, floral design, craft workshops, smoke bomb installations and balloon displays. Our work comes with a 100% Lit Selfie Guarantee.

Has it been a smooth road?
Starting a small business with no capital while working full-time and raising several small children was a breeze. I don’t know why more people don’t do it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

(Just kidding…the road has not been smooth! The thing I love most about Party Witch is we never give up! Our enthusiasm always wins.)

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Party Witch – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
Party Witch brings creative activations and installations to events, pop-ups and random bus stop all over Los Angeles. We build surprise, interactive elements into spaces for clients all over the city. We are happiest with pockets full of glitter, arms full of flowers and balloons in both hands.

Right now we are best known for our epic balloon displays (like our 420 smoke cloud at The Wiltern) and our art activiations (such as Shibori Sundaze).

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
Los Angeles is the best city in the world, don’t @ me.
