Today we’d like to introduce you to Lindsey Kimura.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Since elementary school, many areas of life including business, art, sports, travel, and entertainment have drawn my interest with health and wellness at the forefront. At a young age, I realized that without health, money, success, career, and accomplishments did not matter.
After graduating Johns Hopkins with a degree in Public Health, I gained work experience in many fields including finance, teaching English in Japan, marketing and sales at ESPN, X Games PR and hospitality, marketing in fitness, group fitness instruction, pole master training, and co-founding/producing PCS, a professional Pole Fitness league.
In 2014, I went free-lance and launched LNK Co. An interest and passion to help others grow their companies led me to specialize in business development and marketing. In 2016, I added energy healing and reading to my menu of services helping individuals on energetic and health levels.
Yoga has been a constant practice and inquiry throughout my life since 2003. Though formal teaching began in 2016, the practice has helped me stay grounded, fluid, and balanced.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Transformation and evolution are not perfectly smooth. Every 2-3 years, an inner desire to change or shift my focus in work leads to a transitional cycle and path that is not completely clear. Trusting one footstep at a time proves to be the best management technique.
Prioritizing passion and interest above most else allows my work to stay vibrant and alive. Feelings of detachment and “going through the motions” indicate that it is time to revise, refine, innovate, or end a certain endeavor.
At times, this has meant sacrificing large sums of money or comfort for happiness, freedom, and fulfillment of purpose.
LNK – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
LNK helps individuals and business grow, transform and uplift. Business development and marketing consulting services help companies improve their products and services along with increasing revenue. Energy healing, readings, yoga/meditation/aerial instruction help individuals maintain their health and work/life balance.
LNK combines intuitive consultation with technical, detail-oriented skills and experience. This unique blend allows for comprehensive strategy in growth, development, and transformation in the personal, emotional, physical, spiritual, and financial realms. After all, humans and their creations are multi-dimensional.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
In business, I believe success is identifying and defining measurable goals in alignment with the highest good of the company, owner, employees, and consumers, and delivering on those specifics.
I also believe success and integrity are intertwined. Hitting goals without honesty is not success.
Keen navigation, ability, and willingness to stay aligned with the highest path, allows individuals to work smarter, not harder.
