Today we’d like to introduce you to Lindsay Myers.
Hi Lindsay, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
A friend asked me if I would backpack around the world with her after college graduation. I saved every dime I could and asked for my plane ticket as my graduation present. I had no idea this trip would change my life forever and set the tone for my future brand. My family didn’t travel much growing up, so this first trip really opened my eyes to the world. But it didn’t stop there. I wanted to bring this passion, knowledge to others. I wanted to motivate and encourage others to start exploring and trying new things and exploring new places. My brand would not be created until a decade later, but that fire inside had begun. I worked in television out of school, then for a hotel brand in NYC which is where I met Brad Goreski. I went on to assist him for many years, as well as be on his show on Bravo. I took my knowledge in television and passion for travel to create Getlostiwthlindsay. It is a travel and lifestyle brand that shows how to really fully live life and experiences without breaking the bank. For so many, prices and budgets affect them experiencing life. I show that with a little creativity and an out of the box approach. You can have it all!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I love challenges. I love to find out someone’s story and help guide them on the path to find that passion for life. Everyone has a different story and I love to find out what that is. It is not always easy, but I am up for it!

How do you define success?
Success is following your passions and feeling fulfilled daily. I believe it is never too late to follow your dreams or live life like it is your last. Success to me is not about what is on paper or money. It is about finding what makes that firelight inside of you.
