Leann, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
In 2008, I decided to end my corporate career and follow my passion for the beauty industry. I joined my 3 sisters in the industry and we worked hard over the last 9 years to build the company to what it is today. What use to be Spa Fuzion is now Fuzion Artistry. Within the next month, we will be moving to our new location in Huntington Beach Ca. We are so excited and cannot wait to share the special Grand Opening of our new location with our family, friends, and clientele.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The last 9 years has definitely not been a smooth road. As inexperienced first-time business owners, we made many mistakes along the way. These obstacles however taught us to be smarter the next time around and we do our best to not make the same mistakes twice. What kept us going was our family bond. I have to say no matter how difficult it gets, I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Fuzion Artistry – what should we know?
Our company specializes in beauty services such as permanent makeup, lash extensions, skincare, hair replacement, hair, and nails. We also offer advance training for some of our unique services to students all over the world. Providing our clients with quality service and a clean and safe environment for all their beauty needs is our focus.
Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
My sisters/business partners Cindy, Thuy, and Kim have been the ones who helped bring this vision to life. We have to thank our parents for the family values that they have instilled in us. They are our biggest supporters, mentors, and fans. We also couldn’t be where we are today without the support of our family, friends, and clients.
