Today we’d like to introduce you to Laurent Minniti.
Laurent, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started in 2007 as a PR for a DJ company located in the Santa Clarita Valley. I was networking heavily at the time to promote the company’s services. While involved in trade shows, I met with a rental house company based in the Valley and started to work as a sales rep for them. After a few years, I was put in touch with an investor who wanted to create his own rental company and helped him produce some of the best event designer’s events in town.
After a couple of years, I decided to create my own production company. I asked my closest friends and event planners what they thought would be a great help to them. The feedback was most designers decide to hire only 1 rental house to avoid paying too much in delivery/labor fees instead of keeping their first vision intact and choosing items from 4 or 5 different rental houses.
I propose them to consolidate all items under 1 bill and 1 service team for them to respect the vision they “sold” to their client.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Pretty smooth and steady. My specialty is social events (weddings, mitzvahs,,,). Struggles are with budget management. Other than that, I can’t complain.

haha! Fun, considered a joker. Creative, interested in arts, architecture, sports, and music.
