Meet Kristina Godfrey of Godfrey Social PR

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kristina Godfrey.

Hi Kristina, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I am an LA native and moved to OC in 2001. I have been married for 22 years and have three sons, ages 21, 18, 13. I started my career in PR in 1994 and launched my own PR firm in 1997. The best part of my job is getting to work with amazing people who are either starting a new business or have an established brand. Working alongside them has been the greatest honor and reward. No day is ever the same! When I am not working or momming, I love walks with girlfriends (and wine drinking), reading, listening to wellness podcasts, traveling and going to bed early!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
To keep up with the trends of PR. It is always changing and evolving. We are good at getting creative!

What matters is that brands have a story, and we tell it in a way that resonates with consumers. It’s all about brand awareness and ultimately creating brand loyalty. If brands aren’t investing in social media and PR, it will be hard for customers to find them!
