Meet Krissy Bautista of The Sacred Sisters

Today we’d like to introduce you to Krissy Bautista.

Krissy, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I am a healer. My abilities have always been a part of me since I was a little girl. I was no older than 4 years old when I did my first healing. It took time for me, however, to answer my calling. I have been a hairstylist in the Film and Television industry for the past 19 years. In 2010, I decided to go back to school to study law. I wanted to be a criminal prosecutor and I had dreams of eventually becoming a Supreme Court Justice. My family is big in politics in the Philippines, so you could say it was in my blood. But right before I was about to start grad school, I dropped out and enrolled in a nutrition school in New York City, which was more in alignment with where I was in life at the time.

I have since been trained in a multi-disciplinary way. I am a Holistic Health Practitioner, an Herbalist, a Brain Health Practitioner with the nationally recognized Amen Clinics, and a Trauma-Sensitive HeartMath Certified Practitioner. I am a member of the International Association for Health Coaches and am board certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners.

I am a bit of a nerd and I love to learn, so going to school is a fun pastime for me. I am also motivated by my desire to learn how to provide optimal care for my family. Currently, I am in the master’s program at the Academy of Intuition Medicine to become a Medical Intuitive Master.

Every month I facilitate Sound Bath Meditations in the Los Angeles area with two of my best friends who are also healers. These guided curated ceremonies always sell out and each event includes a cacao ceremony, breathwork and meditation, a sound bath, reiki, a special guest, and readings, as well as some pop-up businesses for guests to shop from.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
When you choose this path – that of a healer – it’s a heavy responsibility. Which is why it took time for me to fully step into it. People literally put their life in your hands.

In order to be able to assist people in their healing, I had to do this very important thing – Physician, heal thyself. It’s a dismantling of the ego and conditioned stories that were programmed into the subconscious.

To be able to take an honest look at yourself in order for transformation to take place is not easy. It takes time and patience and compassion for oneself.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about The Sacred Sisters?
I facilitate Sound Bath Mediations every month with Loci Romano and Jackie Brubaker all over the Los Angeles area. We offer guided curated ceremonies, with the intention of healing and expansion. To hold sacred space, a safe container for people to be held with love and compassion for their transformation to occur.

We have combined our talents to create a beautiful and transformational experience where like-minded people come together for community and connection. The events always sell out and we have had to expand the guest count to accommodate everyone who would like to attend.

What sets us apart is what each one of us (Loci, Jackie and I) brings to the table to meet people’s needs during and outside of the sound bath. We have a deep love and desire to help others.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
I see my industry continuing to grow as people seek ways to expand and live a more fulfilled and authentic way of living. People are seeking more holistic ways of healing.
