Meet Kimberley Nicol & Lindsey Zivalic of Nicol Artistry in South Bay

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kimberley Nicol & Lindsey Zivalic.

Kim & Lindsey joined forces as a hair and makeup team back in 2014. They are both formally trained artists that have worked in the beauty industry for over 10 years. They are passionate about hair & makeup and two of the hardest working gals you will ever know. Both Lindsey and Kim are working moms that love to laugh, live and drink coffee… until it’s time for wine.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
In the beauty industry it’s not just about being able to make people look fab. A great makeup artist or hairstylist must know how to connect with people. If you want to be successful you have to be able to read people. To know what they want without them even knowing it. It took some time for us to understand that but we truly believe that has been the key to our success.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Nicol Artistry – what should we know?
We believe our clients should be a naturally enhanced version of who they are. You should always look like yourself. Makeup and hair shouldn’t feel like plaster.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
The team of girls we have at Nicol Artistry is amazing. All of them are very talented and will light up your day!
