Today we’d like to introduce you to Keri Ann Kimball
Hi Keri Ann, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I began my career in entertainment as an acting student at The American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) in San Francisco before continuing my studies in theater, acting, and film at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. After working on a TV series, I realized that I was more drawn to the creative and business side of the industry than to being a hired actor.
Over the years, my roles in the industry have evolved based on the opportunities I’ve encountered. I developed and produced film and TV projects while securing funding under Zephyr Entertainment alongside producer Eric Brenner. I have also managed writers, actors, and directors—a role I continue when the right opportunity arises.
My transition into PR began at Jane Owen Public Relations (JOPR), where I gained valuable insight into the importance of press and marketing in the creative process. Bringing all these elements together, I founded Kimball Entertainment, a media company that integrates talent management, branding, production, and PR.
With the rise of podcasts, I have created my own shows and helped talent develop theirs. Today, Kimball Entertainment represents clients across all areas of entertainment—actors, writers, and directors—while also working with current and former NFL and NBA players to build their brands and create new opportunities. Through our branding and PR division, K-Star PR, we promote our clients and produce live events, often partnering them with non-profits and musicians from around the world.

The entertainment industry has long been known for its “feast or famine” nature, presenting many challenges. However, when you’re passionate about what you do, things always have a way of working out.

I believe that tenacity and my faith in God have been two of the most important factors in my success. Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to have incredible mentors, and I firmly believe in the universal laws of attraction. These principles have carried me through moments when it seemed like things might not work out. However, I’ve come to understand and trust that everything always falls into place, and these laws continue to guide both me and my business.
