Today we’d like to introduce you to Kendra Hall.
Hi Kendra, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I was 14 when life forced me to grow up. Motherhood, instability, and heartbreak could have broken me—but instead, they became the foundation of my faith and purpose. Writing helped me survive, and eventually led me to help others tell their truth through my company, Droppin’ Jewelz LLC.
Over time, I saw how many young people were fighting invisible battles of their own. That’s why I founded Jewelz Foundation Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that hosts monthly teen summits and workshops on leadership, mental health, and entrepreneurship. We meet youth where they are—teaching them how to lead, heal, and build something of their own.
I’ve learned that healing and leadership begin in the same place—when someone reminds you that you still matter. Through every book, podcast, and youth event, I’m doing for others what I once needed most: showing them they were never forgotten and that impact starts right where they are.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s been anything but smooth. I became a mother at 14 and had to grow up before I was ready. I’ve faced homelessness, domestic violence, and seasons where I had to rebuild from nothing. There were times I didn’t have support, and I had to learn to be both student and teacher in my own life.
Even as my work grew, I fought through burnout, self-doubt, and the pressure of being “strong” for everyone else. But every challenge shaped my compassion and sharpened my purpose. Those experiences became the foundation for how I lead, write, and pour into others today. My scars built my faith, and my faith built the platforms that now serve my community.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Droppin’ Jewelz LLC and Jewelz Foundation Inc.?
Through Droppin’ Jewelz LLC, I help people turn their life experiences into published stories, platforms, and messages that inspire. I specialize in ghostwriting, author coaching, and media storytelling—bridging purpose with professionalism. My work is known for helping clients find healing through writing while building brands that align with their truth.
Through Jewelz Foundation Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, I mentor teens through leadership summits, mental health workshops, and entrepreneurship programs across New Jersey and nationwide. I’m most proud of seeing young people who once doubted their worth step into confidence and leadership.
What sets my work apart is heart. I build spaces where stories, purpose, and personal growth meet—and where transformation isn’t a slogan, it’s a system. Every project, whether a book or a teen summit, begins with the same question: how can this story change a life?
Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
My greatest resources are the books I’ve written, because they all came from real seasons of my life. Droppin’ Jewelz: Guiding Principles to Help Girls Live Their Best Life was my way of speaking to the girl I once was—trying to find direction and worth. Keeping Your Vibes High was born from learning how to protect peace while growing through pain. Workout with Kendra is a full-body fitness guide that teaches discipline and healing through movement.
My newest book to be released, Unbroken Jewelz, is closest to my heart. It shares real stories of survival and faith from people who fought their way back to wholeness. Every book I write starts with truth and ends with transformation—for me and for whoever reads it.
