Meet Kay Dalton of Fresh Wata

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kay Dalton.

Kay, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
My initial dream was to be in sports marketing. Growing up, my Dad was an NFL Football Player and Coach and sports was the world I knew.

But I was eager to learn, so I interned to get my name out there and took any job that was offered to me. I worked on sporting events like AVP Pro Beach Volleyball and the LA Marathon as well as events in the entertainment industry like the MTV Video Music Awards and jobs for Fox Broadcasting. Organically, through word of mouth, I started landing more and more event gigs.

Tricia Costello, my younger sister, was in college when I was starting out and would work with me when she could.

After Tricia graduated, we focused solely on our event business and in 2000 opened Fresh Wata’s headquarters in Las Vegas.

Today that location is a 50,000-square foot warehouse that’s home to our creative team, an in-house fabrication department and our subsidiary companies, FWR Rental Haus and Fresh Wata Studios.

We now have offices around the country and produce events around the world, but our core beliefs remain the same: always work hard, never give up and surround ourselves with creative and positive folks!

Has it been a smooth road?
The events world is never smooth, but from every event you always keep learning what works and what doesn’t ….

We’d love to hear more about your business.
