Today we’d like to introduce you to Kateria Manning.
Kateria, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I’m a California resident and mother of two. I’ve been a student of Astrology for over 22 years and have been in the professional world of Astrology for nine years.
Ever since I stumbled upon Astrology at a very tender age I was absolutely fascinated! I couldn’t keep a book out of my hands. I was always intrigued by the way people acted the way they did, and I wanted to know why my personality was so different from others and why certain personalities clicked, while others didn’t. Astrology was the holder of the key.
I am largely self-taught, although I attended the Academy of Cozmo- physics, a school of astrology. I studied under Ra’Akhu Ra D’Cozmophyxian, founder of Cozmophysics, who took my understanding of Astrology to a more advanced level. I teach Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced Astrology, and I’m currently obtaining ministerial degrees, Masters in Metaphysics and Doctorates in Para-Psychology.
I primarily use the Tropical Zodiac but I also use Sidereal charts as well. I specialize in life path and purpose, health and wellness, natal/ birth charts, compatibility and relationships, predictive Astrology and more. I see myself as a spiritual life coach. I interpret the messages from spirit and the Universe and convey them to you. The Universe doesn’t speak English, it speaks experience. I translate its messages in a way they’re more easily understood. But, let me say, I’m not an easy coach. I’m here to help you change your life, and oftentimes that takes tough love. I don’t sugarcoat anything, sugar ain’t good for you anyway.
Astrology is the study of Heavens influence upon the Earth. A knower of it leads a life of a Heavenly existence.
The Real Family Reunion _Return of The Gods came to me in a vision, back in 2011. It’s a royal festival, celebrating the Great Awakening that’s taking place on planet Earth. We have had three reunions thus far and have managed to gather over 3,000 guests.
So much live entertainment is enjoyed at this monumental event. Live African dancers, spiritual speakers, holistic workshops, conscious music and more.
Solè, Ayanna Gregory ( The Legendary Dick Gregory’s daughter), Sa Roc, and others performed. Griff spoke at it in 2012. Queen Afua, Kaba Kamene(Booker T. Coleman, Chef Ahki and Michael Imhotep, of the Afrakan History Network were honored.
We’ve honored Reverend Michael Beckwith, of the Agape International Spiritual Center, and the move “The Secret”, as well as the late Dr. Delbert Blair, who attended in 2012.
Has it been a smooth road?
It has been very challenging putting together Return of The Gods. I have only had very small investors and sponsors. Other than that everything comes out of my own pocket. 95% of the work is left on my shoulders. I have faced so much stress gathering people, dealing with prejudices of venues and city regulations.
Also, the death of some of our communities legends has been difficult. Their lives and legacies have not been properly rewarded. I didn’t get the chance to honor the late Great Dick Gregory, Dr. Francess Cress Welsing, and the Phenomenal Dr. Sebi.
It’s taken quite a while to receive help and build an adequate team, but, I finally have; Tomeekha Pitre, Koshana Jones, Grass Hop, Herb Alkhemyst, Keenan Chapman and others have definitely assisted the event in becoming the great festival that it’s intended to be.

I am an Astrologer, I teach Astrology and I specialize in so many different types of readings. I’m known for making very accurate predictions. I’m a spirit interpreter, I translate and convey the messages that spirit is speaking. I teach Astrology as though it’s common sense, which it is.
Return of The Gods brings people of like minds together. It opens closed minds and activates awakenings.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Yes, Los Angeles is where it’s at. It’s very good for businesses like mine. The people are here and ready for it. New entrepreneurs must definitely stay consistent. Know that your reputation is everything when it comes to doing business on your own. You must be loving and caring to others, have integrity. A poor reputation can fire you before you begin.
