Today we’d like to introduce you to Kaori Suzuki.
Kaori graduated from Japan’s premiere art institution, Nihon University, with a degree in photography.
She then began her 12 year career as a freelance photographer and shot for such clients as Microsoft, Shiseido, Paloma Picasso, and New Balance.
Always looking forward to new challenges, Suzuki moved to Los Angeles in 2001 and shot a number of celebrities for a client list that includes Warner Brothers, Sony Pictures, and Walt Disney Studios.
She specializes in portrait photography, and she values and enjoys the process of recognizing the individual beauty of her subjects and creating shots that capture and emphasize these qualities.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
My biggest challenge was to move to US from Japan and there was language and custom difference.
