I began as a singer/songwriter/model/actress in Tampa Bay for one of the top agencies – Benz models, where I was featured in essence, modeled for Tyra Banks on HSN and starred in many national commercials. I then moved to la with $3000, networked, used my BA degree in mass communications to work in promotional marketing and found myself becoming a freelance media director for several outlets including my own, Kalima Kam TV. Four years later, I am still in la hitting the carpets and pushing my Kalima Kam YouTube and podcast, “where pop culture meets wisdom.” it’s a platform that motivates people to get it up! Whether “it” be pop culture news, fashion, music, business and even relationships, I cover it all! Kalima Kam interviews are always inspirationally entertaining because I ask the uniquely creative questions and play fun games with my guests!
As a red carpet host here in LA, I am best known for curating and producing quality work. My viral content has been featured on major outlets such as TMZ, Vlad TV, complex, and the shade room to name a few.

I have learned that the 2020 lockdown was only to recreate and re-focus our vision, and for that reason I have taken this time to motivate people to listen to the universe when it is showing you who you are on lockdown and then adjust your life and career virtually so that you can truly live your best life. When we are clear on the vision, we can make the 1st step.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I moved to la with 3000 bucks and a dream, only to quickly learn that la was full of success and ego and clouded mirrors that I consistently “wipe, wipe, wipe it down, wipe” like a TikTok in order to see where my morals and goals remain. 3000 bucks in la is a joke but I realized God had another plan for me, and being freelance, not having to ever work a 9-5 and still pay my la bills is saying a lot.

My business is 1st, Kalima Kam [Kalima’s Kamera] my pop culture media outlet, where pop culture meets wisdom – inspiring all people by giving them #positivitea and #edutainment, without the shade and drama. With my background in marketing, branding and entertainment, K provide photo/video editing services, consulting to aspiring entertainers and merch with all of my favorite original tweets! – What is “K Provide?” I think you meant “Kalima provides…” Also I consult aspiring entertainers and entrepreneurs. I will soon be releasing more merch with my favorite original tweets/personal sayings.
I’m known for interviewing mostly [viral video on NBA youngboy asking me on date during interview] but all my interviews are based on real conversations and less clickbait.
I am most proud of my ability to be innovative in my career, to allow myself to get bored and maintain a hustle and simply re-focus my goals.
I am different because I have always stayed true to the “pop culture meets wisdom brand,” even with countless opportunities to climb a latter by selling my soul, body and mind, I chose to impact more and care less about the numbers. As a Muslim woman, I have created an outlet that is God-conscious, highlights women, break stereotypical barriers, and welcomes real conversations even if controversial. I cover so many angles and still managed to never sign up for only fans to pay the bills.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
My plans are to launch a masterclass for people who are seeking wisdom/motivation in life and career. I want to create virtual relationships through live motivational speaking and allowing them to reach out for motivation and advice.
