Meet Justin Bernardez

Today we’d like to introduce you to Justin Bernardez.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I’ve been around music my whole life, but I’ve always made sure to work as hard as I can to make things happen. I joined my school band in 3rd grade and continued all throughout high school. As I started singing, my fanbase grew bigger than I could ever imagine. I’ve been lucky to tour the world playing sold-out shows. My amazing fans have allowed me to keep doing music, and I’m grateful every day for them.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It definitely hasn’t been easy, but complaining doesn’t make it easier. It’s really tough to make it or even have a fanbase these days. Every day I challenge and push myself to be the best I can be. One of the biggest struggles is getting on a tour. I have fans all over the world. I’ve been waiting to meet, but I know it’ll happen soon! The fans make me work harder than I could ever imagine. I can’t let them down.

Tell us more about your work.
I’m a singer before anything. I love singing and making people happy. What makes me different is the way I sing my lyrics and the meaning of my songs. One song may talk about how I’m going to make it no matter what anybody tells me. Another song I’m calling someone broke because they’re a hater. It just depends.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I can’t say I believe in luck, but I can say hard work will always speak for itself.
