Meet Julie Diamond of Julie Diamond Fitness

Today we’d like to introduce you to Julie Diamond.

Julie, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started out in Fashion and when I was in my 20″s both parents became very ill. I decided at that time I wanted to make a difference. Always being into fitness myself I realized that perhaps if my parents took a little better care of themselves physically, mentally, and spiritually they possibly could have warned of their illnesses.

I got certified and began a career in fitness. I started in Washington, D.C. and moved to L.A. 14 years ago. I have been in fitness over 20 years and have worked with all ages, athletes, celebs, “Moms”, entrepreneurs and kids. I specialize now in women 45 + dealing with life changes that go along with getting “younger”. I believe age is really a privilege and I want to teach women how to embrace the process and be their healthiest selves forever.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It’s been interesting – I have had to rebuild my business twice because I moved – but I have incredibly loyal clients and great testimonials and was able to to do quickly. Most all of my clients stay with me for years and we really develop a strong connection to keep them their healthiest via life changes.

My biggest obstacle now is the fast-paced world we live in and technology. Social Media is great and allows us many new venues to get our message across, it can also be daunting because I didn’t grow up in the tech age and am not particularly savvy with it.

Please tell us about Julie Diamond Fitness.
I am a Fitness & Wellness Coach. I have 10 certifications including NSPA (National Sports Performance Association) & IIN (Integrative Institute of Nutrition). I take each client on a journey. It all depends on their goal i.e. lose weight, get stronger, specific needs…

I specialize in women 45+ who are experiencing mid-life changes… hormones, weight gain, bone density, nutrition and overall well-being. I’m known for educating women on their own bodies and minds via fitness and nutrition – teaching them the tools to embrace the aging process with enthusiasm, not fear.

I’m proud that I empower women to be their best. I have been through what I’m teaching and come from a place of authenticity and I think that’s what sets me apart from others.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I wish I had gotten more involved earlier globally.
