Meet Jules Lavallee

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jules Lavallee.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Jules. So, let’s start at the beginning, and we can move on from there.
I am from Boston, MA. I studied business and journalism at Northeastern University and Harvard University. I started out writing for CIO Magazine and Software Magazine. I had a love for technology and a built-in desire to write. During this time, I developed a substantial network of leaders in the software space including my dear friend, Shawn McConnon.

He was the V.P. of Sun Microsystems and started and sold several technology companies including Okena. He was my Mentor. My relationships led me to Orchid Technologies Engineering and Consulting. I worked as a High-Tech Marketing Manager with the most sophisticated Intel ATOM designs at the time and core of Engineers delivering world-class products.

Paul Nicholson led the team at Orchid Technologies, and he was a genius designer. I believe volunteering is essential. Mentoring young people and helping the homeless are at the top of my list. I was a Big Sister in Boston, MA. I spent a lot of time helping the Haley House with clothing drives, fundraising, and volunteering to prepare meals in the soup kitchen.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Struggles yes, like most, however you try your best and keep moving. I paid for my own education. Some may consider it a struggle. I worked as a nanny for one of the most respected Cardiac Surgeons at Children’s Hospital, Dr. Leslie Smoot and her husband a renowned Gerontologist Dr. Thomas Perls while attending college. From Thursday evening to Sunday evening, I waitressed at an Italian Restaurant. I’ve always had a strong work ethic.

On a personal level, my struggles came by trusting too much and believing that “most people are good.” I was always disappointed, and at times, the costs were great. However, without this road of discovery, I would never be in the position as a Journalist who is working on one of the biggest stories of a new patent, FMTVDM, a test that finds heart disease and cancer sooner by a quantitative method.

We’d love to hear more about what you do.
I am a Celebrity Writer, Screenplay Writer, Poet, and Humanitarian. I enjoy writing about people who have a pulse on humanity and truly want to make a difference. I often write about upcoming Actors, Entrepreneurs, and Non-Profits.

I am known for not taking any nonsense. I am from Boston…enough said. When I write, I delve deep into the core of what makes the person “tick.” It isn’t merely acting or starting a new business, there is something that drives people, and the root is usually in their childhood.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
My greatest inspiration was my 7th Grade, English teacher, Mr. Robbins. At the time, he was obtaining his Master’s Degree at Dartmouth. He would share my writing every day. He told me that I was one of the best writers he has seen and I was destined to help people.

My most recent inspiration is Islam Scholar, Mufti Menk, He has forever changed my life. I have converted from Christianity to Islam.

Beyond being a good article, I want to make something crystal clear. The reason why Jules is working with me on FMTVDM is because of who she is. She isn’t just a writer, she is a quality person. A person who genuinely cares about people and making the world better and with her help, we will do just that.

Jules truly is an amazing and talented celebrity journalist. More importantly Jules is a down to earth human being with a lot of empathy for others. She proves this with her humanitarian efforts and helping so many (for example bringing food and clothing to the homeless). I enjoyed the article and am proud to call Jules a friend.

This article is a wonderful insight into a journalist and why their work is as important as the news they cover. Thanks Jules for your generosity and journalism.
