Meet Jonathan Rezvani of DivinityLA in Culver City

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jonathan Rezvani.

Jonathan, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Ever since I can remember, I have wanted my own business. The creative side is what excites me most about a business. The fact that anything is possible. My favorite quote. “Everything around you that you call life was made up by people no smarter than you. You can change it, you can influence it, you can build your own things other people can use.” Steve Jobs 1994. This concept is something I try to focus on and practice. The idea that self-confidence stands in between ourselves and our dreams.

Self-confidence was something I struggled with growing up and still do today. When I was 21, I set off on a mission to not only help myself but also others. I created DivinityLA Bracelets to inspire others to find the confidence within themselves.

We launched in 2015 and grew quickly. We would restock and selling out daily. Almost five years later, We continue to grow and inspire. DivinityLA has been able to impacted millions around the world through our product and charity partners. We look forward to continuing our journey and growing with our community.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has never been a smooth road. I am so thankful for that. Without challenges, we can never learn. Without learning, we can never grow.

I didn’t start the business with much knowledge. Everything was researched, tested and implemented. When I started DivinityLA I was in college. I went to school during the day and borrowed my brothers office at night. Our team worked from 7pm-3am. We stored our inventory in paper grocery bags inside a bathroom shower. Eventually my brother kicked us out. As we grew the struggles got more complicated, but I am thankful for every challenge.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
DivinityLA was started in 2015 with a mission to inspire. We hand make semi-precious gemstones bracelets. Each design comes with a motivational meaning card inspiring customers to be the best versions of themselves. Bracelets are also paired with a Charity that align with our products and mission.

I am most proud of the sharing our message with people around world. If we can impact others to make a change in their own lives or how they give back, we are winning. I am excited to see our community grow and influence change.

What set us apart is that we are not a bracelet company. The bracelet is a symbol of inspiration. We are selling inspiration.
