Today we’d like to introduce you to Jonathan Pelletier.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I got into kickboxing because it was inviting. It encompasses both strength and cardio in the same workout. It has always been my go to work out to maintain my weight when everything else has always been monotonous. Everyone always thinks it’s aggressive and intimidating but unless you want to compete in the sport it couldn’t be further from the truth. Kickboxing can be very therapeutic and help you release aggression.
There was a lack of kickboxing classes in the area, so I found some space inside another gym and started teaching from there. When it took off, I ventured out into my own space to offer a better and more authentic environment. I built everything myself with very little funds and Kept doing improvement throughout the years. Still always looking to improve and make the gym a better experience to our members.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It’s always a struggle keeping the prices low and trying to expand the gym. It is a labor of love because owning a gym makes very little money and take up all your time. When you see members’ improvement and their progress it can be very rewarding.

All About Kickboxing is a friendly gym to help introduce everyone to fitness. If you don’t know where to start, how to punch, kick, how to use free weights or even your own body weight, you will learn and pickup everything you need from here. You will not be thrown into the lion’s den and have to fight to survive. You will be guided all the way.
We are a community gym where everyone knows each other. We are a place where you can learn a martial art and make a friend.
