Thanks for sharing your story with us John. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Before getting involved in real estate 4 years ago, I spent over a decade working in politics. Starting with Howard Dean’s 2004 presidential campaign in Iowa and ending my time in politics at the Los Angeles Board of Education (and stints with Congress, the Democratic National Committee, and another presidential campaign, in between).
Having a career where I wake up every morning feeling happy and fulfilled about what I do is of utmost importance to me. I feel most satisfied when I’m helping people, and helping people buying or selling a home is a great way for me to positively affect people’s lives. Our core beliefs reflect our commitment to providing excellent service to clients. The core beliefs are, Effective, Honest & Ethical. It pains me that the real estate industry is consistently ranked as among the least trustworthy and respected. I consider it part of my personal duty to rectify that image one client at a time.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Thankfully, there were many similarities between working in politics to work in real estate. My daily routine revolves around helping people and making a positive impact on them and my very best days are those when I’ve worked through a long journey to finally make someone’s real estate dreams come true.
Going from being an employee with salary and benefits to a small business owner with no set salary or benefits was a real struggle. It was an eye opening experience to the challenges of starting and growing a small business.

We are most proud of our dedication to continuing education and being the very best that we can be. Many agents in Los Angeles are part-timers and provide less than stellar service. Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My childhood taught me a lot about being independent and resilient. It also motivated me to graduated high school a year early.
