I had just returned to the US after a tour in Europe acting with second city Chicago. This was in 2009 and I have been laid off from my previous job as a teacher with Los Angeles unified school district. I started laboring for A small moving operation just to make ends meet, two months in, I thought, hey I can do this, so I bought a box truck for $3500 and never looked back.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Moving is a very stressful process physically and emotionally which is the main reason people call us we absorb the stress of their life transition for them. But outside of the work the hardest part of getting started was dealing with the city bureaucracy in the licensing process.

Just movers specialize in personalized household goods moves. We’re most well-known for our customer service as our yelp account with indicate. Our reviews are real and organic, they are not paid for as many Los Angeles moving company’s reviews are. We also employ primarily working artists, musicians, comedians, writers, and actors.

Well, I have to thank above all my mom and dad. They’ve been the most supportive in this venture. My dad was a small business owner in Oakland. He just retired but had a billboard painting company he ran for 35 years and just sold it to my youngest brother. Working for yourself has become a family tradition.
