Meet Jezuz Delarosa of SoReckless in Fullerton

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jezuz Delarosa.

Jezuz, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started my business in Fullerton, Orange County. When I was 14 I use to edit videos for pro gamers and organizations, cause editing is what I really loved when I was young then I was introduced to filming.

I was Inspired by Cole Bennett and Louie knows to go out and film for so many artists, I started my videos with my friends BabySymph and Toyozami they helped me get my work out to the people all over the orange county and after that I left my city and went out to film for artists in LA. It was a really tough start, In high school I had to work hard to keep up with having good grades while working on videos overnight and I had to take the big risk of letting go of my college life to mainly focus on videos which were the best choice because I love my job and it’s going really well for me. I would say editing videos also saved my life because my environment was really bad.

I was around violence and gangs also people who were just up to no good trying to bring me down so staying home and getting a good start for the real world was a blessing and before doing all this I was working with audio production/mixing and graphics design I also wanted to be a YouTuber or Twitch streamer it took me a few years to find out what I really wanted to do.

Has it been a smooth road?
It was a big challenge. I had to go through so many failures and people who were fake. I lost many friends who started this business with me and also left with the help that I gave. Many also didn’t believe in me everyone thought it was funny that I was trying to do something big when I was nothing but I stayed quiet and let the success speak for me. Money was also a big issue I’m not a person who accepts help from others I like to do it all on my own so I went through many sleepless nights in order to make big investments knowing I had school the next day and my parents would always get called because I would sleep during my first class.

Tell us more about your work.
SoReckless is my very own business with only me as the worker. I am the lonely wolf I direct, film, and edit my videos there is no team behind all of my movies. I sometimes make cover art for the artists that I work with and even mix their music for shows that they be performing in. In the future, SoReckless will be doing more than just music everyone will know about it and have a big impact on their lives just wait on it.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
I want to see my industry trend worldwide with many supporting especially my city. I want me and my team to be able to help make a change in this world we will be starting something new it will be like a culture.
