Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Oslo.
Jessica, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I’m the Clinical Director at Vantis Institute in Newport Beach and a founding partner. I come from a surgical background working alongside the most elite plastic surgeons in Orange County for the last 11 years. During that time, I started my path with paramedical micro-pigmentation where I was able to apply my medical knowledge and artistry repairing a variety of surgical scars and restoring hairlines without the need for surgery. I am dual-trained in paramedical and scalp micro-pigmentation and received my certification in the UK and California.
I created a modified treatment technique that aesthetically replicates hair follicles called Vantis Follicle Replication (VFR). This solution works for patients with every degree of hair loss and whether they are completely bald or just experiencing thinning. I use a proprietary pigment blending technique that also allows me to treat patients with every hair color. It’s truly gratifying to transform patients instantly, making them look 10 years younger by restoring the appearance of a full head of hair. Seeing the confidence this treatment gives my patients is truly what fuels me.
Has it been a smooth road?
The biggest challenge was leaving my old practice of 11 years and parting from my work family to
take a leap of faith in this new business venture. There is a lot of paperwork and administrative tasks involved in starting a business from scratch and I was eager to get that part done as quickly as possible so I could do what I loved most, which is working with patients.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Vantis Institute – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
The Vantis Follicle Replication is the only hair loss solution on the market that guarantees immediate results. Each patient’s individual hair follicles are assessed to determine color and diameter. We then create thousands of micro-fine impressions in the scalp with a custom tone organic pigment to replicate their exact follicles. This creates the appearance of a full head of hair instantly. VFR can help any degree of hair loss whether the patient is completely bald, thinning, or just looking to add density. The results are immediate, permanent, and best of all, there is no down-time.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
As with any new business, it can consume your time. Training my amazing practitioners is a detailed process and requires time and dedication. I absolutely love working with patients and often will do multiple treatments a day. It is extremely rewarding to be able to erase a problem like balding and see what it does to my patient’s confidence. Lack of time for personal life is the only down-side. I am currently a living kidney donor and was about to start the testing process to donate a portion of my liver when I co-founded Vantis Institute. I had to postpone that surgery until my practitioners have reached their master level in training and completed our VFR certification.
Pricing:
- $850-$2250 per session. Density treatments usually require 2-4 sessions.

I can attest to the fact that Jessica truly has her patients best interest at heart! She is incredibly giving and dedicated woman. As a kidney and soon to be liver donor, she sought out her kidney recipient through an ad on Craigslist. She is a remarkable human being and has a huge impact on those around her! Great article, congrats Jess!
