Meet Jessica Mortarotti of HotBox Infrared Sauna Studio in Downtown LA

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Mortarotti.

Jessica, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
HotBox started out of a personal desire to sweat more. I don’t sweat easily, and I started researching all the incredible benefits people experience from regular sauna use. I wanted to find an easy and affordable way for people to get a great sweat in an uplifting environment. HotBox was born out of those values.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I don’t think anything worth doing is easy. It can be enjoyable, and rewarding, but not easy. There are so many little details that can and do go wrong. The biggest challenge, however, is staying in the right frame of mind. If you are not there, everything becomes way more difficult.

Please tell us about HotBox Infrared Sauna Studio.
We are an infrared sauna studio, which is basically an a la carte day spa. We specialize in infrared sauna and focus solely on that. We stand out because of our modern design and outstanding customer experience.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I’m pretty happy with how HotBox turned out. It’s exactly the sauna studio that I would want to go to. That being said, I know exactly the few things that I would upgrade – and you’ll see those changes implemented in future locations.
