Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Magdaleno.
Can you briefly walk us through your story?
After living between the forests of Washington and the ocean of California, I left for the Middle East in my early twenties. I resided there for a couple of years before moving with the company I was with to Belgium and worked and studied there. These two places greatly influenced me as a woman and shaped my character and perspective.
I was introduced early on to tea culture and the wisdom gained from ritual and this developed a path that I share with others.
What else should we know?
DeerWomen is about beauty & ritual. It brings you back to nature, magick and wildness through esoteric collections of ritual teas, elixirs & accouterments.
It is a love spell to ancient culture, tradition, feminine wisdom, art and intellect.
I want people to take away the symbolism through the herbs and culture invoking a sense of vitality and giving them otherworldly power anytime, anywhere.
Choosing a creative or artistic path comes with many financial challenges. Any advice for those struggling to focus on their passion due to financial concerns?
Yes, time equates to money. So, finding the time to do it actually means more than the money in the end.
How or where can people see your work? How can people support your work?
Also, most products are available in Los Angeles at the Mystic Museum. We’ll be at BitchCraft Los Angeles this December and as always online at www.DeerWomen.com.
