Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Diaz
Hi Jessica, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My name is Jessica Diaz but on social media platforms, people know me by “Jesssiiibooo”.
During Covid I dipped my toes into my entrepreneurial creativity where I opened my own POSHMARK shop reselling my gently worn clothing pieces. Starting that project allowed me to pay my share of the bills at home while I was unemployed, and that was when I realized I could make money online. During this time I also went through a tough breakup and had to move back into my parents home. Although I have a BA in criminology I was unsure of what I was going to do. The income from Poshmark was unsteady. I was feeling unmotivated and discouraged. I shared my feelings with my cousin Michelle and she introduced me to a network marketing opportunity with a company named MONAT. Little did I know my life was about to change for the better. With MONAT I was able to grow a team of hardworking individuals , became part of the top 3% rank in leadership, paid off my student loan debt, paid off my car loan, and was able to save money. This experience taught me to be a team player and most importantly learn skills that have played a huge role into who I am today. I learned marketing, visuals, and communication skills all through sharing the products I used / was promoting. I became more outgoing and it was fun interacting with others by sharing what I had to offer. I created a successful business where I was helping others with their hair and skin needs but also contributing to helping them feel better about themselves. I strongly believe that the most significant skill I learned was to let go of fear and just go for it.
I was able to grow my social media and expand my network by collaborating with the podcast
” ROMPIENDO LA LÍNEA” which was a huge push for me and I’ll always cherish that opportunity.
I’ve always loved fashion,beauty, and being on camera.
Currently I have had so many amazing opportunities to collaborate with artists, clothing brands, attend red carpets events and movie premiers, be part of music videos, and have photo shoots for different projects. This has always been a dream for me. Along the way I have met amazing people who I’ve created genuine friendships with, and I’m just happy doing what I love. I’ve had collaborations that have been a full circle for me and I’m forever grateful.
I want to end by sharing how
” JESSSIIIBOOO ” was created. The nickname was actually given to me by my first boyfriend in 6th grade ( haha ). The name stayed with me ever since, and through my entrepreneurial ventures it became part of my identity where I have actually created my own branding behind ” JESSSIIIBOOO”.
She is a pansexual, 27 year old Latina, who is fearless and will always stay true to herself. Xoxo
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
For the most part, people can look at me and think I’ve always been this confident person who has always been super secure within herself. However, I recently left a toxic 3 relationship / environment where I was left having to build myself back up. I went back to therapy and have been in therapy for approximately 4 months. I have an amazing circle of close friends and immediate family who have contributed to my personal growth. I am forever grateful for my mental health now and where I am today. I can genuinely say, I love myself.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a social media content creator. I focus on beauty, fashion, and lifestyle.
I love to showcase to my viewers that anything is possible. I still work a 9-5 as a case manager for the county and I am still able to live my dream as a social media micro influencer.
What’s next?
I hope to grow on social media, continue to inspire others to chase their dreams, get involved with my community, be featured in more music videos for known artist, potentially have a career in criminology since that’s what I have my degree in, and contribute towards my parents retirement.
