Meet Jesse Allen and Pixie Bella Allen of Creatif Company in Venice

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jesse Allen and Pixie Bella Allen.

Jesse and Pixie Bella, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
We met at a bar on a Sunday afternoon, we had no mutual friends as we were both from out of town, we sat out on the deck and talked and laughed for hours, getting to know each other as much as we could over the loud music, we decided to go on a date the very next time and I guess the rest is history.

Pixie was already a successful photographer when we met and I was actually in school learning how to become one, she convinced me to quit and she would teach me the ropes. and here we are.

We have now owned our company for over four years and have traveled the world shooting campaigns for countless brands and creating imagery for print.

We recently got married and move to LA for a creative change and to extend our client base, we have never been happier.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Hmmm where do I begin….. moving to another country is like starting life all over again, you need to find a house, make friends, get a new number, learn the new number, get a bank account, find an accountant that won’t rip you off, buy a car, get your license to sit in the DMV for 2 days, build credit, the list goes on and on.

America is far from a walk in the park but you get s sense of worth here when you do something extraordinary, being a creative and living in this city is incredible, the locations and model choices are endless.

Creatif Company – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
We are a photography and video duo who specialize in Swim, fashion, lingerie, and commercial type media.

We are always proud of what we do and how far we have come, we feel our POD is that we work together as a team, we have been doing this for so long together that we know our roles and we know how to get the most out of a days work and create magic for the client.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Once we heard back that we had been approved for our US visas we both were in shock, we spent over a year pulling media, personal references, agencies agreements, memos and spent over 25k to get here.

This is our proudest moment, its not easy to get approved to live here an when we got the green light we knew it was meant to be.
