Meet Jeremy Rose of College Nannies + Sitters + Tutors in Orange County

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeremy Rose.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Jeremy. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I have always loved helping families! In my first business, I had a chance to put smiles on children’s faces for over eight years. As a dad of two young kids, I wanted to find a good business in which I could give back and was needed in our area.

Having the chance to give the parents a BREAK and the peace of mind that we give is a great benefit of owning College Nannies + Sitters + Tutors. We have been fortunate to interact with over 1000 kids in the last seven years.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Just like any other business, we’ve had our UP & DOWNS. We are fortunate to have a staff of 60 nannies, sitters and tutors that have a passion for kids. The good news is that we’re able to help students who want to be teachers or any long-term career with children, the bad news is usually after college a lot of our team does leave us.

Our families are great! Just like we’ve helped them, without us this wouldn’t be possible. We have had our short-term struggles throughout the years, but we never give up. I would say the biggest struggle is finding the right combination of recruiting and marketing. We never like to say NO to our families but on the other hand, we want to stay busy.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with College Nannies + Sitters + Tutors – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Our company goal is to Build Stronger Families. As we service 450 families, the majority in Orange County with a number of our Services.

We specialize in interacting with kids from newborns to 18 years of age, Special Needs and tutoring from 4th grade to high school. If you’re looking for a “Buddy” or a caregiver with a newborn experience we can do it all.

We have six services that we help families:
1. Full-Time Nannies (30 Plus hours a Week)
2. Part Time Nannies (15-30 hours a Week)
3. Summer Nannies (3 to 10 Weeks for Summer Time)
4. Respite Care (Work with Special Needs Families), We are a vendor of the Regional Center of Orange County
5. On-Call Nannies (Great for Date Nights, Sick Days, School Holidays, etc…)

I am most proud of our team as they’re requested back on a consistent basis as well as the long-term relationships that we’ve created.

I believe the combination of customer service, our great team and our Family App is what separates up apart from our competition. We always follow up with families making sure they’ve had a great experience with us. Our Family App called My Sitters makes booking a sitter or nanny as easy as it gets. You will have a sitter booked within a minute if it’s for a date night or a school day.

We love helping families and look forward to having the chance to interact with you and your kids in the near future.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
In regards to the future, we look to continue to grow but at a slow pace. We continue to build our relationships with our current families in addition to adding on new families.

Our biggest changes in the future are providing childcare for Pre-Schools, Churches, Special Events such as Holiday Parties and Weddings. We are currently working with a few Pre-Schools and Churches and our services have been a great match for both sides.
