Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeremy Green.
Jeremy, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Music has always been a part of my life. Heavily influenced by Motown, Rock, Pop, and Soul I began singing at the age of 4 “as my mother would say,” and I started playing piano at the age 15. I’m originally from “Albany, GA.” After graduation from high school, I joined the United States Army. I served In the Army for six years.
I was stationed in Europe 4 of those six years and eight months in Afghanistan. Although I loved the Army and all it had to offer, I felt it was time to pursue my true passion and start a career in music. I moved to Los Angeles the year 2015.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Life is what you make. This journey can and will be tiring at times, but with true faith and belief in yourself, nothing can hold you back from achieving your main goal.

I am a Singer/Songwriter/Keyboardist. Some of my greatest influences in music are that of Ray Charles, Sir Elton John, Steely Dan, Babyface, Maxwell, The Police, The Eagles, Coldplay, and Prince… just to name a few. I always keep an open mind, and I’m always willing to learn and try different approaches to music and throughout life. Staying true to myself and understanding that we are all students with much room to grow.
What were you like growing up?
Growing up I was a bit timid and unorthodox if you will say. I was very outgoing but only towards music and creativity. I wasn’t good a sports, and during any other interactions or physical activity, I’d be found setting on the sidelines awaiting 3rd period’s chorus class to start.
I was apart of my school choir back then in high school. The teachers would sometimes call me out of my classroom just to have me go and sing to their students in another classroom. Albany High, that was the name of my school… Good times.
