Meet Jenny Wirt of IN+FORM

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jenny Wirt.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Jenny. So, let’s start at the beginning, and we can move on from there.
I earned a Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Oklahoma in 2010 and traveled across the country gaining experience in various settings, with a brief stent to pursue fashion styling in NYC that would later develop into deeper wardrobe healing through conscious dressing.

My interest in alternative healing began when I had an incident where I fell and hurt my tailbone. Nothing I tried helped until an instructor performed Craniosacral therapy on me and I left the treatment feeling like I was walking on a cloud. She only held her hand on my sacrum for maybe a minute, and I walked away pain-free. It was incredible and sparked my interest in seeking information outside of traditional medicine.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I wouldn’t describe my path as smooth, but definitely interesting! I feel I’ve been gently guided through my life experiences into what I’m doing now. I’ve had jobs that really didn’t fit who I am or what I wanted to achieve.

I want to help people feel insanely good in their bodies, whether through mind-body or wardrobe healing and still be able to fully use my gifts and creative talents.

At times I’ve felt torn because there was the side of me who wanted to pursue health and wellness and another side that needed to fulfill my creative passions in fashion styling.

I’ve attempted to make my career in just one or the other and always felt a bit empty. So I’ve created a career path that allows me the freedom and flexibility to incorporate both.

IN+FORM – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I offer two different services. One being mind-body healing that primarily focuses on releasing physical and emotional blocks via Craniosacral therapy, myofascial energy techniques, and chakra balancing to allow the skeletal system to align and function more efficiently.

My practice is primarily focused around supporting women during life’s transitions, but particularly surrounding pregnancy with the many changes that happen in the body. It’s very helpful in preparing a woman’s body for pregnancy, birth and beyond.

The other service I offer is conscious dressing to support deeper healing from the inside out. Our wardrobe choices can not only reflect our emotional state but can also impact it. Balancing proportions, chakras through color choice, and tones that brighten skin can all play a role in feeling radiant, magnetic, and magical in what you wear each day.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I experience my success through others. A client sharing that her pain is gone and she can now fully live her life in ways she wasn’t able to before. Or when a woman I’ve worked with in a conscious dressing consultation tells me how empowered she feels in getting dressed when it used to be a negative experience every day. Those are my achievements and why I do what I do.
