Meet Jennifer Sher

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Sher.

Jennifer, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I was born in Guatemala but moved to California in my teen years, I am a mother of three beautiful daughters, and I live in Santa Clarita, CA with my dear husband, my girls, and my two cats. I’m a mixed media artists and sculptor. I am also a full-time accountant. But on my spare time, I do art. When I discovered Mixed Media ART in Sept 2015, I was blown away with this type of art and what you could do by learning how to create it. Now I can’t stop. 😊 In April 2016, I discovered Paperclay, and it totally changed my art journey. I love to see my art in 3D. It’s addictive.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been a very smooth road since I only do it in my spare time.

Please tell us about Jennifer Sher Art.
Jennifer Sher Art is a sustainable brand that uses recycled materials in each and every handmade sculpture. Founded in January 2019.

Jennifer Sher Art is all about spreading continuous Love, Joy, Positivity and, Empowerment thru the handmade artwork made by Jennifer Sher.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite moment from childhood is when I used to try to re-create some of the landscape paintings my aunt used to have hanging in her living room in a mini-journal I used to have. I’ve always love to draw.
