Meet Jenna Frank of Los Angeles

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jenna Frank.

Jenna Frank

Hi Jenna, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.

I was introduced to Hollywood at a very young age, making my first on-screen appearance at just 9 years old. Growing up, my family had a reality show called My Morphing Life, and I was constantly on set with my dad, which really shaped my early experiences in the industry.

While acting has always been a part of my life, I discovered my love for music at 15 and started writing my own songs. Music became a powerful outlet for me, and now, after years of creating, I’m finally releasing some of my older work—with a lot more on the way this year. This journey has been about embracing every part of my creative self, and I’m excited for what’s to come!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?

My journey hasn’t been easy. Within just 13 months, I lost the two people I loved and valued most—my sister in 2021 and my father to suicide in 2022. Losing them shattered me and made me hit rock bottom. It was in that darkness that I truly realized how fragile life is—we’re only here on borrowed time. That’s why I’ve made it my mission to spread awareness about mental health. It’s something we have to take seriously, and I want people to know that it’s okay to reach out, to ask for help, and to know they’re not alone. If my story can help even one person, then sharing it is worth it.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?

Right now, I’m most excited about Legend of the White Dragon, which is set to release in late 2025. This film holds deep meaning for me because it’s my dad’s final movie, and I have the honor of playing his daughter on screen. Being part of this project is incredibly special—it’s not just a tribute to his legacy but also a way to keep his spirit alive through storytelling.

Beyond acting, music has always been a huge part of my life. I’m currently working on new albums under my artist name, J-Rae, and I can’t wait to share more of my sound with the world. In addition to music, I’m launching a podcast called Unlock True Healing, where I’ll be diving into real conversations about healing, resilience, and transformation. I also have masterclasses on healing in the works, along with my guided grief workbook, which is designed to help others navigate their own journeys through loss.

What sets me apart is my deep passion for turning pain into purpose. I’ve been through unimaginable loss, but instead of letting it break me, I’ve used it as fuel to create, inspire, and help others heal. Whether through film, music, or my healing work, my mission is to remind people that they’re not alone and that true healing is possible.

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
One of my favorite books is The Body Keeps the Score—a powerful read that I believe everyone should experience. I also enjoy listening to podcasts that focus on spiritual healing, self-love, and personal growth—anything that promotes positivity and deeper self-awareness.
