Today we’d like to introduce you to Jazzy Skye.
Jazzy, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Holly and I started Bold Online magazine after meeting each other at UCLA. We were both new students and had joined an online magazine club on campus. While there, we began to collaborate ideas of what our own online publication might look like. When we realized that our visions of an all-inclusive womans’ publication aligned, we took a leap and started bold.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
There has been a lot of hard work starting up bold. Luckily, we got to do it together. We spent months perfecting our website as this was the first thing that our readers would be introduced to us by. Together, we created a brand of our dreams: one that could signify a safe place for woman of all different types to feel comfortable in. Six months into our journey together we brought on two friends, Alexa and Carly, to help us out and they’ve been an extraordinary help. The four of us are unique in our own ways and bring something different to the table.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with bold. Online Magazine – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
Bold Online Magazine is a virtual community. We reach our readers through feature articles, inspiring career profiles, travel guides, tips and more. We strive to encourage women to live balanced and healthy lifestyles through the help of their bold community.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
We’re always excited for our future. We are constantly evolving with our readers. Whether that be specific articles that they request or an event that our readers are dying to go to, we’re ready to help make that happen!
