Meet Jason Ortega of Detail Empire in Fullerton

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jason Ortega.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Jason. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I started working for my ex-boss back in 2010 who runs a very successful auto detailing supplies company. It was fun While it lasted, I loved what I did, but before all that I started detailing myself back in 2005 when I use to work for Disneyland. I didn’t have professional products with me but I just loved it a lot. Back to my ex-boss, Because I was detailer, I was sent to run his showroom and mange it and help other detailers out. I also did sales for him and classes as well, Well I wanted more and felt there was more for me out there. We bump heads a lot and him being a sales man with no detailing background and me a detailer knowing what we could’ve done together but my ideas got shut down a lot!

I left the company, didn’t have a lot of money and went back to washing cars and detailing full time. Being that I had worked with him, tons of manufactures shut me down. So I got lucky by detailing my blenders car out in diamond bar area. I had no idea who he was but he somehow, he saw a lot in me. We chatted it up for a while and became close, He has his company out in Colorado. So he would fly from time to time, and that was impressive for me. So he had asked me if I was to make something what would it be? And my first product was super gloss spray sealant. Like someone baking a cake for you, you have ideas and what you would want to go into it. I felt I wanted each product at my needs as a detailer so that’s another reason why my company is different on products, designed by detailers made for you.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s tough, and still tough, but now, I am growing and every day is a push day. You only fail if you want to.

Detail Empire – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I developed auto detailing products. Spray sealants, shampoos, wheel cleaners and all.

I love to see others using it, believing in me and enjoying the product just as much as I do.

Again, what sets us apart, is we don’t just slap a label on and here… We put a lot of thought into our products and see what it needs. and also, you not only buy the product, you buy us with it. Since we detail, we will help you in any way we can.
