Meet Jasmine Green of TrIndiBlu Apparel in Rancho Cucamonga

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jasmine Green.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Jasmine. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I am the Owner & Designer of TrIndiBlu Apparel. I started sewing when I was about 12 years old. My mom purchased my first sewing machine which started me on the path as a self-taught designer. I, Then decided in the fall of 2015 to attend college for Fashion Design & Merchandising. I attended in hopes that I could learn more in fashion so that I can improve on my skills as a designer. I attended Chaffey Community College and Finished The Fashion Program. I am currently waiting to receive my Associate’s Degree. I have been designing for clientele since 2012 however I have been seeing an increase in leads Within the past year. My company showcases an array of uniqueness and individuality through uniquely chic apparel with a twist. We key in on the size and fit of our garments so that people, like you and I do not feel like nothing out on the market fits our unique body, as well as style. Our products are made with love, craftsmanship, and detail for All genders and age groups.

Personally, I have found that most garments produced use Vanity sizing. Which most manufacturers use in fast fashion. I have an abundance of experience with Fashion Design, Costume Design, Patternmaking, as well as fitting and alterations. As a Designer, why not put that creativity to use. I love creating new concepts and designs but, I definitely feel the need to create for others clothing they will love and feel confident in. Why? You might ask, well knowing you are the only one in the world with that distinct outfit should make you feel unique, sexy, and confident. NO ONE…can strut it better than you! There will be many looking to imitate you because you’re a trendsetter, an individual, a leader, and not a follower. So, do yourself a favor, be your own person, by representing yourself with our custom apparel. I am a Designer, wife, and a mom of a beautiful baby girl named Amiyah. Has it been a smooth road?

With all businesses and in life, it has definitely been difficult whether financially or mentally. Unfortunately, back in 2014, my family lost someone very close to our hearts, my mom. Going through all of the things my family went through and the loss of her made it difficult for me to peruse my goals whether for my business or personally. Since then I’ve taken the leap to keep pursuing my dreams because I wanted to finish what I’d set out to do and I knew she’d be proud of me no matter what.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the TrIndiBlu Apparel story. Tell us more about the business.

TrIndiBlu Apparel is a brand that specializes in custom apparel and alterations. For all sizes and occasions. By letting our clients become the designer we can help direct and create their perfect wardrobe based on how they envision their style. We are different from many companies and corporations because we not only design for real people but we are honest. We do what we love and understand that you work hard for your money and deserve to have something beautiful. I am most proud of the fact that people can rely on me and my expertise to make their dreams come true, whether it’s their wedding day or a normal day out. I sale not only the garments themselves but the experience. I am here to make the client feel the best version of themselves.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?

I do not think the Fashion Industry itself will change much hopefully the industry can figure out ways to recycle or reuse textiles and not rely on international manufacturing so much so that we can create more jobs here in the states. However In the next 5-10 years, I hope that my company can be the start of change. I hope that my business can stand out over large companies like David’s Bridal. I hope people can come into my business and say wow that was the best experience I’ve ever had in my life. I want them to feel like they can afford to feel beautiful and luxurious in what they create whatever that may be. And to not feel discouraged because they can’t find clothes that fit their body type. I would love to have a physical location, better equipment, employees, and design for all, no matter who it is. I hope that as my daughter grows up, she can see something positive and eventually learn to sew.
