Jana, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
My personal journey into the psychic realm began as a child. Growing up with a mother who is psychic, I was surrounded by people coming to her for readings. I thought this was a normal part of everyday life. My own powers came in the form of predictive dreams, “knowing things,” and having an uncanny ability to hook people up with the perfect jobs or connect them with others who could help them in some way.
My friends jokingly referred to me as the “cosmic connector.” My first encounter with spirit occurred when I was in my early 20’s. Three days after my dad died of lung cancer, he appeared to me in the middle of the night. I woke up to find him sitting at the end of my bed with his hand on my ankle. He had stopped by to let me know he was fine and that everything was going to be okay.
As an adult, I pursued my spiritual education, studying Spiritual Psychology and Holistic Health. I received certifications in Personal Training, Flower Essences, Equine Assisted Therapy, Reiki, Massage Therapy, as well as other healing modalities.
I am the author of the book “Perfectly Fit Intuition,” a guide to developing your intuitive muscles, as you would your physical muscles: through diet, exercise, and commitment. And I’m the proud owner of the Crystal Elixir Studio, which offers customized, tailored metaphysical solutions for all your energetic intentions.
Has it been a smooth road?
As with any entrepreneurial endeavor, the first year always presents challenges. For us, it was carving out our place in the market: distinguishing our services and product from other businesses and establishing our brand. On a personal level, shifting from corporate America, behind the desk, to embodying all the skills necessary to successfully run a thriving metaphysical store was a growth experience. But one which I recommend highly! Moving from behind the scenes to out in front, incorporating media appearances and customer interaction, meant that each day was different and brought different challenges to be met and conquered.

The creation of this store has been a life-long dream for me. The Crystal Elixir Studio is a place for seekers to find all the tools and services they need while forging their individual spiritual paths. All our services and products are personalized to the client’s needs. We are LA’s first custom-blended flower essence and essential oils bar. We also offer custom-made jewelry, personalized crystal grids, custom-blended candles, and a variety of readings and healings that you might not find elsewhere. Acutonics (healing via tone and music), pendulum readings via spirit board, herbology, full astrological readings, etc.
We focus on your needs and assess how best to provide an overall spiritual solution. We also host many workshops, full moon ceremonies, and spirit circles for those looking to expand their knowledge. And here at the Crystal Elixir Studio, we don’t just focus on humans, but also cater to your favorite four-legged friends, offering pet wellness services and energetic products such as crystal collars, crystal-encased water bowls, and pet elixirs.
It was also important for me to be able to bring everything we do in the store to you in the comfort of your own home. Our “concierge” service allows us to offer our gifts and services to you for private one-on-one sessions, parties and events. (Available to Los Angeles area clients.)
