Today we’d like to introduce you to Jamee Natella
Hi Jamee, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
From a young age, I’ve been fascinated by storytelling and its ability to connect people across cultures. My journey began with a career in media and production, where I honed my skills in creating content that resonates emotionally and inspires action. Over the years, I developed a passion for using stories to shine a light on different perspectives, whether through film, commercial projects, or grassroots initiatives.
Travel has always been a constant in my life, broadening my horizons and deepening my understanding of the world. But it wasn’t until I began traveling with my son that I truly realized the power of curiosity and education in shaping young minds. His endless questions about cultures, traditions, and the stories behind them planted the seed for Worldride Adventures.
What began as a simple desire to answer his questions has now grown into a platform dedicated to educating and inspiring children about global diversity. Through books, immersive experiences, and charitable initiatives like Worldride Impact, we’ve created a way for kids to explore the world — even if they can’t leave their own neighborhoods.
This journey has been about more than just storytelling; it’s been about fostering empathy, connection, and a shared curiosity about the world. Each step, from writing my first children’s book to launching programs that provide cultural travel opportunities for underserved kids, has been both challenging and deeply rewarding. I’m proud of how far we’ve come, and I’m excited to continue building a legacy that inspires the next generation of global citizens.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Like any meaningful journey, the road to creating Worldride Adventures has been anything but smooth. Turning an idea into reality always comes with its share of challenges, and this project was no exception. One of the biggest hurdles was navigating the publishing world as a first-time author. From finding the right team to refining my vision for the book series, every step required persistence and a steep learning curve.
Beyond that, building a platform with multiple components — books, an immersive website, a newsletter, a product line, and a charitable arm — was a massive undertaking. It meant balancing creativity with the logistics of running a business. There were countless moments of self-doubt and sleepless nights spent trying to make sure each piece aligned with the bigger mission.
Another challenge was finding ways to keep the initiative accessible and impactful. For example, launching Worldride Impact, the charitable arm, required navigating grant structures, securing funding, and forming partnerships — all while staying true to the goal of giving underserved children meaningful cultural experiences.
And, of course, there were personal struggles along the way. Balancing the demands of building this project with family life and other professional commitments was not always easy. But every challenge came with an opportunity to learn, grow, and refine the vision.
In hindsight, those struggles are what make the journey so rewarding. They’ve shaped the heart of Worldride Adventures and strengthened my commitment to creating something that inspires curiosity, empathy, and a love for the world’s diversity.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
The name of my organization is Worldride Adventures. At its core, it’s a platform designed to inspire children to explore the world’s incredible diversity through engaging stories, cultural education, and immersive experiences. What sets Worldride Adventures apart is its multi-faceted approach — we’re not just a children’s book series or a travel initiative. We combine storytelling, education, and impact to create meaningful connections with young readers and their families.
Our flagship offering is the children’s book series, starting with Sam in London, which uses humor, curiosity, and relatable characters to introduce kids to global cultures. But Worldride Adventures goes beyond the books. We have an interactive website with educational content, a global newsletter, and a charitable arm, Worldride Impact, which provides underserved children with cultural travel opportunities, both virtual and real.
Brand-wise, I’m most proud of how Worldride Adventures has resonated with kids and parents alike. Seeing a child light up as they learn about a different culture or hearing from a parent who says the books have sparked meaningful conversations at home is the greatest reward.
What I want readers to know is that Worldride Adventures is about more than just travel or education — it’s about fostering empathy and curiosity. We believe that by teaching kids to appreciate the richness of the world’s cultures, we can inspire the next generation of global citizens who approach the world with understanding and compassion. Whether you dive into the books, explore the website, or support Worldride Impact, you’re joining us in building a more connected and inclusive world.
Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
I’d like to leave readers with this: Curiosity and empathy are some of the most powerful tools we have to connect with the world around us. Whether it’s through travel, stories, or simply learning about different cultures, every step we take toward understanding each other helps create a more compassionate and inclusive world.
Through Worldride Adventures, my goal is to spark that curiosity in children and families, inspiring them to explore the richness of global diversity. Whether it’s diving into one of our books, exploring new ideas through our website, or supporting Worldride Impact to give underserved kids cultural experiences, there’s a place for everyone to get involved.
Most importantly, I encourage you to embrace the world with an open heart and an open mind. The more we learn about each other, the more we realize how interconnected we all truly are.
