Today we’d like to introduce you to Jaden Powell.
So, before we jump into specific questions, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Honestly, this is all started from winning one of those crappy Flip Video cameras from this soda pop reward points my grandpa got me started on. We drank A LOT of soda and entered the codes online then next thing we knew a video camera showed up on my grandmother’s front porch. The rest was history after that. I began filming family events and my own random videos. I remembering being so excited to edit the videos and now that I look back on them, they were terrible! Hahaha! I was 12 years old when I got that camera. From there, I joined a video production program in High school that I got REALLY involved in so much so that I was made Executive Producer the same year I joined. From graduation, I continued to work on my passion no matter what life threw at me, I knew that as long as I kept creating that the world would create a way for me. I went from being freelance to creating my own media production company, which wouldn’t have been possible without my partner Jeff. I’ve just been following my heart & attacking my dreams everyday that I wake up. I’ve realized not everyone gets to do what I do, wake up everyday and do what they love & I’m thankful for the life that I’ve built.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not at the least! It has been a VERY bumpy road, there was even a point where I thought I made a HUGE mistake. From financial burdens, to the brink of being homeless. I fought through it all just to get to where we are today at Creative Kultur.

Here at Creative Kultur we are a community of Creatives that come together to creative cutting edge video content and challenge the status quo of what an upcoming media company can do. So far in our first year of operation, we have produced content for TEDx, we help make magic happen behind the scenes for the day-time TV show ‘The Real’ & we even filmed a cannabis tv show with Tommy Chong!
