Meet Jacquie Aiche of Los Angeles

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jacquie Aiche.

Hi Jacquie, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve always been drawn to gemstones and minerals. Even as a little girl I would spend hours collecting treasures in my background and turning them into jewelry for my family. I fell in love with the freedom of playing with Mother Nature’s magic…Years later, while working in my boutique, I found it hard to find jewelry that felt sensual, feminine and natural. Pieces I wanted to layer on and live in. So I started designing my own and selling them anonymously. When I saw the way women responded, I knew this was a path I had to follow. Since then, it’s taken on a life of its own…

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Like any journey, there are ups and downs. But I’m incredibly grateful to be surrounded by a tribe of powerful, loving men and women who support me through it all. When you have people who lift you up, there’s nothing you can’t face. Their energy carries me through it all.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Traditional, classical jewelry is amazing, but it’s never been for me. I’ve always had a wild and spiritual nature…And I think that intentional, rebellious spirit comes through in everything I create. The layers I design are guided by intuition. I don’t choose the gemstones, they choose me. It’s a magical process, and I believe that comes through in the jewels…They’re incredibly personal and each one carries more than meets the eye. Our signature essentials are diamond shakers, body jewels, crystal talismans, intricate gemstone inlays and so much more…I’m endlessly proud of it all, especially knowing that I get to do what I love with people I love. And that energy is shared with everyone who joins the JA tribe.

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
The people I’m surrounded by…My tribe matters most. My family, my friends and the men and women I design for. Their love is what fuels me every day.
